Speaking on the occasion Dr.Montek Singh Ahluwalia said
“Innovation and investment in clean technology is critical for achieving economic and environmental goals while moving towards achieving energy security in the long term. Given the constraint of resources that a country has, a balanced approach is to balance expenditure on home-grown innovation with expenditure on technology transfer from abroad and further making it relevant for the local needs. In this context, Innovation Showcase Pavilion is the right opportunity for SMEs, local industry, as well as MNCs to leverage upon the global ecosystem of knowledge transfer, regulatory support, and
financial resources created by the Clean Energy Ministerial and embark upon a journey of innovation-based long-term growth.”
